Meet people in similar situations, gain information and encouragement.
We provide support in a confidential and non-judgmental environment.
Talking Eating Disorders (TEDS) is a Merseyside community based eating disorder service, founded by Leigh Best in 2000, and is open to anyone who is affected by an eating disorder.
We encourage carers, parents, extended family members and friends to attend our confidential, friendly and informal monthly support groups.
Our monthly support groups offer opportunities to talk, share experiences and support each other. We also offer a closed group for anyone trying to overcome an eating disorder.
Our groups provide support from other people with similar experiences in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. Our support group provides the opportunity to meet people in similar situations, and gain information and encouragement.
We offer support to:
You are not in treatment yet and need support towards taking that first step towards recovery
Are in treatment and need additional support in a non-judgemental safe environment
Are in recovery and would like some additional support
